The brand was not given this name by chance. In fact, blueberries are often known as the “vision fruit” with acknowledged beneficial effects on vision and eye disorders.

There is a man behind these stylish glasses - Benoit Sourdon - who realised the increasing exposure of himself and his three children to blue light through looking at screens and using LED lighting.

Like thousands of people without any eyesight problems, he was experiencing symptoms such as watery eyes, headaches and double vision.
As he had been working in the optics and frames sector for 10 years, Benoit very soon realised there were no trendy, affordable glasses offering protection for people who did not wear corrective lenses.

Working in the optics and frames sector gave him an opportunity to develop a range of trendy, colourful, filtering glasses at a reasonable price.

This is how the Blueberry brand came into being. At long last, it has given people a good reason for wearing glasses!
